Neterra donated BGN 1,500 for the First Line Campaign to support Bulgarian medics in the fight against COVID-19. The campaign is organized by Bulgarian entrepreneurs, engineers, and IT specialists in partnership with the BCause Foundation.

The funds are intended for various hospitals in Bulgaria, which are in short supply of protective equipment and consumables such as masks, overalls and more. Protecting first-line medics is key to managing the epidemic in Bulgaria. The organizers are aiming to raise BGN 100,000.
The funds received so far are worth about BGN 50,000 from 158 donors.

With the amount raised, 10,000 FFP2 filter masks have already been ordered. The allocation of funds and supplies will be based on a mathematical model with factors including the current needs of hospitals, the number of patients, donations made so far, and the population in the area.

Earlier this month, Neterra and its staff donated $ 10,000 worth of food and vouchers to support people and families in difficulty as the epidemic progressed.
